Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page describes how refunds and cancellations would work on ApnaCourse. It is sample legal language for a demo project and is not legal advice. ApnaCourse does not process real payments at this stage.

1. The 7-day refund window

Most courses on ApnaCourse are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that you have not completed more than 25% of the course content. This window exists so you can try a course without risk.

2. Courses not eligible for refund

• Courses you have completed more than 25% of.
• Courses purchased more than 7 days ago.
• Courses explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase.
• Courses where there is evidence of abuse (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund of the same tutor’s courses).

3. How to request a refund

Refund requests would be submitted from your purchase email or the My Courses section of your account. A real deployment would process refunds to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

4. Cancellation before completion

Because most courses are one-time purchases with lifetime access, there is no subscription to cancel. If you have been charged in error, contact us within 7 days.

5. Tutor payouts

Tutors are paid out monthly for sales that are outside the refund window. A refunded sale reduces the tutor’s payout for that period. We do not claw back payouts already made, except in cases of demonstrated fraud.

6. Disputes

If we decline a refund request you believe is valid, you may escalate it by emailing refunds@apnacourse.example. A second reviewer will look at the case and respond within 5 working days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change that reduces refund eligibility will apply only to purchases made after the change takes effect.
